Lester, my life will never be the same without you.

With heavy hearts, I announce the passing of Lester Tobin, a sweet and steadfast golden retriever, who crossed the rainbow bridge on September 6th, 2025, at home in the loving arms of his pet parent, Alicia.

Lester was more than a pet, he was a comforting presence, a quiet listener, and Alicia’s unwavering companion for over 16 beautiful years. With his warm eyes and gentle nature, Lester brought light to every room he entered and calm to every storm life threw Alicia’s way. His days were filled with soft walks, warm naps, shared silence, and the kind of unspoken love only a dog like Lester could give.

He was there for all of it, through moves, milestones, heartbreaks, and healing, offering his quiet comfort and his paw whenever it was needed most. Lester had a remarkable way of sensing emotions and offering just the right kind of presence, whether it was a nuzzle, a sigh, or simply resting his head on Alicia’s lap.

In his final moments, Lester was held close, kissed gently, and sent off with love, dignity, and peace. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered — not only for the years he gave, but for the love he lived.

Rest well, sweet Lester. You were, and always will be, so very loved.
